Abstract:
This paper presents results of the correlation analysis between indicators of education, income, happiness and economic freedom for 145 countries for 2018. The Pearson (product-moment) correlation, the Spearman rank correlation, and Kendall’s Tau correlation were used in the research process. The calculations are implemented in the application packet Statistica. The analysis showed that education has a strong relationship with all analyzed indicators. This study confirms the conclusion about the importance of education and therefore need to improve the level of education in society. Also, the results of the study suggest that education not only contributes to an increase in income, but also makes persons happier.
