Abstract:
The research objective is to is to develop an algorithm to computerise the process of allocating the limited resources of a local government to maximise the needs of the community. With limited financial resources, local govern-ments must determine the optimum volume of planned services to be pro-vided. The increasing amount of information, as well as the need for rapid management decision-making, necessitates the use of information and com-puter technologies (ICT) in this area. Research methods used: comparative analysis, planning theory, utility analy-sis, design of software module, analytical methods. Results of the research: The paper contributes to the theoretical studies about ICT implementation in local governance. Also, the paper contributes to the discussion of the practical implementation of ICT in the allocation of limited resources at the local governance level.
