![]() Title:An Efficient Procedure for Estimating Sub-Core Permeability Distribution Using Data from Multiple Coreflooding Experiments Conference:CMWR 2020 Tags:characteristic relative permeability, CO2-brine flow, Coreflood modeling, coreflooding experiment, permeability estimation and sub-core scale properties Abstract: This work presents a procedure based on the method of Krause et al. (2013) to estimate sub-core permeability distribution and characteristic relative permeability from coreflooding experimental data. The new procedure employs a simplified model for characteristic curve estimation developed in Rabinovich and Darkwah (2019), requiring only solutions of steady state single-phase flow equations. Therefore, the computational time is significantly reduced. The method is also extended to combine data from a number of experiments with different fractional flow of injection.
