Abstract:
Research goal of the paper is to study the ecological state of the surface waters using spatio-temporal representation of water quality using a geographic information system (GIS), which will provide interdepartmental information interaction and analytical support for environmental and socio-economic decision making. Mathematical modeling of the ecological state of surface waters according to hydrochemical ingredients was carried out in accordance with the ecological classification. The visual interpretation of multidimensional data, which was obtained using GIS technologies, makes it possible to obtain information on the extent and areas of surface waters pollution and to estimate the level of anthropogenic load on hydroecosystems.
