Recent decisions of the VfGH on health care raise doubts about the simplicity - especially since legal provisions originate from very different "authors". Knowing the origin of a text is the fundamental requirement for its understanding, because not only the language but also the "person" of the legislator plays a role in its interpretation. It turns out that different legislators speak very different languages, even if a text at first seems to be written in simple German. We therefore put up for discussion the idea of documenting the origin of a text in legal informatics.
