Abstract:
We consider temperature output tracking for a room model. Dynamics of the fluid within the room are governed by the Boussinesq equations, which we consider linearized around a steady state solution. We show that the system of PDEs complemented with a weighted average temperature observation form a regular linear system, thus a particular error-feedback controller achieves output tracking of sinusoidal reference signals. The theoretical results are illustrated through numerical simulations.
