The Safarnaama App is based on a hybrid recommendation model, that creates personalized travel-oriented recommendations for users. The app serves as a one-stop solution for multi-ple stages of a trip. It cuts down the planning and execution difficulties that travel enthusi-asts face, by providing a platform that acts as a convergence point; right from planning, to discovering one’s new favorite destination. The system involves integration of multiple ser-vices onto a single platform, making the process hassle-free for the user. The model inte-grates content-based and collaborative filtering architectures, making it capable of provid-ing optimal travel recommendations, along with a curated travel itinerary. This is achieved by considering user interests and analyzing historical as well as real-time data.
