This study addresses a research gap by conducting comparative case studies on the sustainability practices of the space sector, waste management, and textile and clothing (TC) industry. The research questions focus on exploring the similarities and differences in sustainability practices, identifying challenges and opportunities in implementing sustainable practices and extracting key lessons for cross-industry collaboration and knowledge transfer.  The anticipated findings will assess the factors influencing recycling and reuse in the selected sectors, identify common aspects and differences, and provide best practices and recommendations for policymaking initiatives. The theoretical and empirical contributions include identifying key enablers and barriers to sustainability practices in operational terms.
