Abstract:
The digital society requires the training of qualified specialists who possess not only hard skills, but also the ability to independently master new information technologies, work with information in a certain area, delve into the technological processes of labor organization, be able to creatively approach the search, independently and continuously replenish their knowledge, improve their skills and professional skills, the so-called soft skills. The article discusses the following components of soft skills: motivational readiness (cognitive and professional interests), intellectual readiness (general and special abilities, the system of knowledge, skills, and abilities), emotional-volitional readiness (attitude to learning, self-regulation), and social readiness (communication skills and responsibility, awareness of the situation by choice). The conditions for the successful formation of soft skills in software engineering technicians education are considered: 1) content and technological integration of social and humanitarian, general professional, special subject training and extracurricular activities of students; 2) combination of theoretical presentation with subsequent practical implementation; 3) use of e-educational resources; 4) problematic presentation of the material.
