The article on the basis of the ecological value of reflection the concept of sustainable development and Hellenistic concepts is conceptual and methodological improvement of health saving competence of Physical Education teachers in the conditions of post-graduate education. There are presented methodological ways of greening of health and fitness technologies and identified opportunities for ecologically oriented their use by the teacher. Based on ecophilic interpretation of Hellenistic ideas are developed methodological concepts "Tellusantropo convergence" of the "Arete of the earth", "Tellusantropo harmonization", "Astoria of the Earth", "Tellusantropo reflection". Cultural, educational and technological sense of these concepts is existential axiological and ecophilic-oriented representation and interpretation the idea of sustainable development with the aim of using them as a Physical Education teacherin the educational health saving and fitness technologies and practices.Actualized question about the development of a future human – “Sustainable Development Person”. Leading personal behavioral quality of such a person is sophrosyne. Hellenistic concept of sophrosyne integrates the system relevant to the sustainable development of human qualities, namely, moderation, harmony, restraint, a sense of proportion, common sense, care about yourself, etc. The development of sophrosyne is one of the pedagogical conditions of prevention of acute heart disease including sudden cardiac death. This is due to the fact that the person who has formed sophrosyne minimizes risky, extreme, expansive and stressful behavior and understands the limits of their strengths and capabilities.Sophrosyne aims at harmonizing relations between man and Earth. Accordingly, sophrosyne is an ecophilic quality that reveals an understanding of the limited resources of the planet and determines the value relationship to Earth.
