Has over 20 years of experience as a wildlife biologist and manager in government (Department of Wildlife and National Parks) and researcher in an academic institution (University of Botswana) for over 10 years.

His interests revolve around landscape ecology, with special interests in wildlife foraging, movements, and management; fire ecology and management; community-based natural resource management, and ecosystem processes (nutrient cycling, production, etc.); and human-wildlife conflict.
