I am Subham Kandel, a Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor's degree from Kathmandu University, Nepal and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering through a joint program between Kathmandu University and the University of Southern Eastern Norway (USN). I have good knowledge in software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS (Thermal and Static analysis), Barracuda CPFD and Simplify3D. During my time at USN, I conducted experimental and computational studies focusing on the flow dynamics of Geldart A and B particles in a cold Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) under the theme of circular economy. I explored various design modifications such as changes in cyclone geometry, recirculation pipe configurations and distributor angles to optimize particle circulation rates and improve system efficiency.
