Heidi Marais is in the third year of her PhD studies at Mälardalen University in Sweden. She previously completed her Masters degree in Chemical Engineering at the university of Pretoria in South Africa. Her current research is focused on wastewater treatment and reuse, and how process supervision can contribute to improving the performance of the process.
