Wesley Angelino de Souza was born in Brazil, in 1985. He received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from FEEC/UNICAMP in 2016. He was a Guest Researcher with the University of Padova (UNIPd/Italy) in 2012/2013 and a postdoctoral researcher with FEEC/UNICAMP, DComp/UFSCar and ICTS/UNESP in 2017, 2019, and 2020, respectively. Since 2020, he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, at the Federal University of Technology-Paraná (UTFPR), Brazil. His expertise includes embedded systems, power meters, smart meters, machine learning, and low- and high-level programming.
