In 2007 Alex has finished his studies at the University of Applied Science in Wedel, Germany. Since then he is working for IBM on Java Enterprise Application development. Since 2011 he is part of the IBM Software Group Services and working on projects in the public sector. In the last years Alex has digged himself first into Docker to ease his development and test deployments and then came to K8S for bigger and scalable test environments. Beside the daily projects he is evolving project infrastructure and driving the teams operations towards DevOps and easier environment commitioning.

Beside the work Alex loves development with Spring.io and Vaadin for private projects when not riding his Bike accros the Alster Valey.
