Bio

Dr. M. Hamed Mozaffari received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering in 2010 and 2012, respectively. In 2020, he graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He has worked at different companies and academic institutions as Research and Teaching Assistant. As a Machine Learning expert and Data Scientist, he starts working with the National Research Council Canada in the position of Assistant Research Officer targeting problems in Raman spectroscopy. His research interest includes the application of Machine Learning and Computer Vision for various areas of science. His passion is to solve complicated problems with simple solutions. Dr. Hamed Mozaffari awards and honours include the Ontario Trillium Scholarship, International Admission Scholarship, and Iranian Elite Scholarship because of his outstanding achievements in his research. He has published several scientific journals and conferences in different venues. Currently, he is working on applying Artificial Intelligence for chemical analysis of Mixture materials using Raman spectroscopy.
