The Unification of Approaches to Measuring the Digital Maturity of Business Structures (International and Domestic Approaches)
PRESENTER: Liliya Melnyk

ABSTRACT. The current state of digital technologies in domestic business is drastically different from the world’s one. The use of international methodologies to determine the level of digital maturity of business using appropriate indicators is not acceptable for domestic realities due to the low overall level of use of digital technologies in the economic space. The task of developing a national methodology for determining the index of digital maturity of business is relevant and important. Such a methodology should take into account the current state of the national economy, reflect an in-depth analysis of digital maturity indicators of business structures and take into account their dynamics, while being flexible to respond quickly to new economic processes and phenomena, and provide further unification with international methodologies (e.g. DESI). The article analyzes the international approaches to measuring the digital maturity of business structures, and offers its own national methodology for determining the index of digital maturity of business developed on its basis

Difference of Fuzzy Homogeneous Classes of Objects

ABSTRACT. Analysis of relevance, similarity, and the difference between newly extracted or acquired knowledge and previously obtained ones are important stages of the knowledge integration process for modern knowledge-based systems. These stages can be performed via the application of special operations dened over the knowledge representation structures provided by chosen representation model. Within the object-oriented approach, classes are one of the main knowledge representation structures, consequently, the analysis of the relevance, similarity, and difference between them requires the development of corresponding operations over classes. Therefore the concept of universal difference exploiter of fuzzy homogeneous classes of objects, within such a knowledge representation model as fuzzy object-oriented dynamic networks, was introduced in the paper. To implement the proposed exploiter, which allows computing of the difference of one fuzzy homogeneous class of objects from another one, we developed the corresponding algorithm and provided an example of its application. The proposed approach provides an opportunity to evaluate the relevance and novelty level of extracted or acquired fuzzy knowledge compared with previously obtained ones by computing the difference between them.

Automated Monitoring of Content Demand in Distance Learning

ABSTRACT. In this paper the research of means and the development of software for matching the student's gaze focus with the structure of information on the computer monitor during distance learning is presented. Widespread hardware is envisaged to be used. Primary processing of the face image, eye regions separation is performed by means of the OpenCV library. An appropriate algorithm to calculate the center of the eye's pupil has been developed. The influence of the system calibration process with different schemes of calibration point display, its delay time on the screen and location of the additional camera according the accuracy of the calculation the coordinates of the gaze focus is investigated. Based on the performed experiments, it was defined that the error of gaze focus recognition with using two cameras can be reduced to 4-10\%. The proposed approach makes it possible for objective measurement the working time of each student with one or another part of content. The lecturer will have the opportunity to improve the content by highlighting significant parts that receive little attention and simplifying those elements that students process for an unreasonable amount of time. It is planned to integrate the developed software with the LMS Moodle in the future.

An Information System to Support the Process of Internal Quality Assurance of Educational ProgramsAn Information System to Support Internal Quality Assurance of Educational Programs

ABSTRACT. The article examines the issues of internal evaluation of the quality of educational programs in higher education institutions. The estimation is based on the involvement of stakeholder representatives. The evaluation criteria of the educational program are presented in the form of a rooted tree, where the root is the final grade. Multiple-valued logic is used to analyze the estimates made by stakeholders. It is proposed to translate the quantitative component of the assessment into a qualitative one. An algorithm for processing the set estimates has been developed. Differences in the assessments of different groups of stakeholders confirm the need to improve the elements of the educational program. A model of a database designed for the storage and processing of information related to the internal evaluation of the quality of educational programs has been developed. The proposed information system to support the process of internal quality assurance of educational programs allows to process quality indicators from different target groups and derive an overall assessment. The obtained data can be used for further improvement of educational programs

Application of Tracker Video Analysis for Distance Learning of Physics

ABSTRACT. Educational experiments, demonstrations, and laboratory works are the basis for the natural sciences study. The drastic restriction of lessons in a real physics laboratory in 2020 – 2021 clearly demonstrated their negative effect on quality of education. In terms of distance and blended learning, video analysis of real experiments, processes, and phenomena is a real competitor to the corresponding digital models. The free software Tracker toolkit allows measuring physical quantities on the basis of video material, processing the received data and comparing them with mathematical models. Tracker usage expands methods of obtaining and practical application of information, shows how to identify the actions of laws and, therefore, forms the scientific competency of students. The general rules for creating educational videos suitable for analysis using Tracker are given in the article. There are demonstrated different approaches to creating instructions for laboratory works based on video analysis on the examples of labs such as measuring the acceleration of free fall (mechanics), determining the surface tension of a liquid (molecular physics), the study of the rotational motion of the Sun (astronomy). Reference videos, didactic recommendations, a collection of video problems, and instructions on non-traditional methods of educational experiment adapted for video analysis using Tracker have been created. They are posted in the section «Instrumental digital didactics» of the resource stemua.science of the National Center «Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine», which is popular among online users. Video analysis techniques are used for formal and non-formal education of pupils and students in the conditions of COVID-19; this has been verified during trainings of educators and summer distance physics school (2020).

Neuro-Fuzzy Expert System for Control and Diagnostics of Helicopters Aircraft Engines Technical State
PRESENTER: Serhii Vladov

ABSTRACT. The paper has solved the actual scientific and practical problem of constructing a fuzzy expert system for control and diagnostics of helicopter aircraft engines technical state in flight modes. The algorithm for control and diagnosing of air-craft engines technical state has been further developed on the basis of a modified method of diagnostic matrices and fuzzy logic, which differs from the existing ones in that due to the introduction of fuzzy expert rules corresponding to the physics of processes occurring in aircraft engines with a free turbine, it has made it possible to increase the confidence coefficient decision-making on the presence of a defect in a particular node of the flow path of helicopters aircraft engines at the stage of helicopters flight operation. The implementation of a fuzzy expert system with the use of a Wang-Mendel fuzzy neural network is proposed, which made it possible to determine on a test example the presence of a defect in the compressor, the presence of which indicates a 1 % degree of pressure increase in the compressor.

Weight-based Load Balancing in Raspberry Pi MPICH Heterogeneous Cluster with Fuzzy Estimation of Node Computational Performance
PRESENTER: Dmytro Zubov

ABSTRACT. Dynamic load balancing is a key methodology that is used to speed up computing clusters nowadays. The work sharing and the work stealing are two opposite algorithms with various implementations based on predefined metrics like performance, response time, fault tolerance, resource utilization, and scalability. For the heterogeneous soft-/hardware in the Raspberry Pi MPICH cluster, weight-based load balancing is the most efficient approach since different parameters such as type of CPU and OS, RAM, workload, microSD card capacity, power consumption, and OS release date can be taken into consideration. These parameters are described numerically and linguistically, and hence the fuzzy logic is applied to estimate the performance weights of the cluster nodes. Then, this information is used to distribute the workload among the cluster nodes to minimize the execution time. In this project, fuzzification, formation of fuzzy rules, fuzzy inference, and defuzzification are applied to find the performance weights. The defuzzification is based on the multiplication operation. In the cluster with two Raspberry Pi 4B boards with 2 GB RAM and Raspberry Pi 64-bit OS with desktop and one Raspberry Pi 3B board with 1 GB RAM and Raspberry Pi 32-bit OS Lite, recommended performance weights are (5, 5, 1), respectively. The Python program for the prime numbers finding algorithm implements the proposed weight-based load balancing approach that is approximately five times faster than the basic algorithm with equal loading for the maximum integer number 300000.

Approach for Determination of Drone Positions Set with Maximal Terrain Visibility

ABSTRACT. In recent years, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been found in many practical applications, one of the challenging problems is the estimation of the optimal path of the UAV to cover the target area. The visual inspection and monitoring with UAVs is the example of such applications and they have been attracted increasing attention in recent years. In our paper we present a novel approach to approximately estimate a set of viewpoints to reach maximal visibility of the polygonal model of the terrain in linear time. The proposed approach is based on a subdivision of a terrain model on a regular grid and on using ray casting technique to solve a terrain cover problem.

The Сoncept Of Cyber-Physical System For Intelligent Battery Health Assessment And Road Range Forecast
PRESENTER: Dennis Kuznetsov

ABSTRACT. The use of up-to-date artificial intelligence systems to estimate and predict accurately the rechargeable battery life of modern electric cars is becoming a fairly common approach. After all, the incorrect and inadequate assessment of the electric car's operation affects the timeliness of its maintenance, which in turn impacts the overall service life of the most important mechanisms and parts of the car, in particular the engine and the battery. This article discusses the concept of using a cyber-physical system to predict the Road Range and the State of Health of an electric car based on the use of soft computing ap-proaches (ANFIS). This made it possible to determine more accurately the individual Road Range and the State of Health indicators of an electric car depending on many parameters (temperature, driver's driving style and the current BMS indicators of the battery). The proposed approach can be used in IoT networks in order to obtain more accurate information from data of more cars.

Taxonomy model of representing of science studies

ABSTRACT. Taking to account the problem of the high amount of scientific data, it is relevant to develop methods of it's structuration and processing. Using ontology graphs is the perspective modern way to provide. Taking to account that most studies is written based on IMRAD, it was used to provide integration of different studies at a single structure and provide structuration at all. The different ways to create integrated ontology using IMRAD have been described. To get the necessary level of abstraction IMRAD elements as part of a set of specific study were de-composed as levels of abstraction from L1 (general integration node with genial-ized data) to L5 (specific papers with specific data) depended on the abstraction. The content of each node in form of metadata and its further processing is de-scribed. The specific way of the usage of proposed modes has described on the example of the describing studies in the field of biogas production. The proposed approach can be used in a single field or be even more integrated and be devoted to the structuration of the works in different fields.
