Elena Tarasova graduated Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University in 2003 - received the specialty «Physics and basics of computer science», the qualification «Teacher of physics, basics of computer science, astronomy and life safety», іn 2004 - received the master's degree in the specialty «Pedagogy and methods of secondary education. Physics», the qualification «Master of Pedagogical Education. Physics teacher». After graduation she works in it at the Department of Informatics and Applied Mathematics (assistant, docent, senior teacher).

In 2012 received PhD (Solid State Physics) from Oles Gonchar Dnepro National University.

Author of more than 30 scientific papers (4 of them are included in the SCOPUS scientific and metric databases) in the fields of solid state physics, nanoelectronics, сomputer simulation, cognitive networks.
