Halyna Popova is the Head of Educational and Methodological Laboratory of Innovative Technologies of Kherson State Maritime Academy. She ensures workflow and performs theativity related to distance learning and e-learning; participates in formation of policy according to the latest developments establishing and supporting innovative forms of learning.Thefields of her research are Augmented and Virtual Reality, development of future maritime professionals’ critical thinking, blended learning and gamification. At present, H.Popovaconducts her thesis research on use of VR in forming of future maritime professionals’ competences. She is the author of 22 scientific publications, 3 of which are indexed in Scopusand WOS
