Dr Nadiya Holiver was born March 12,1962 in Groznyi (Russia). Graduated from Chechen-Ingush State University, speciality "Foreign languages and literature" with Honors. Has been working for Kryvyi Rih National University (Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine) since 1990. Holds the position of Head of the Department of Foreign languages since 2002. Defended her PhD " Didactic conditions of computer technologies use for training students of Higher Technical Educational Institutions" in 2005. Got the academic rank of  assosiate professor of the Foreign languages department in 2006. Sphere of scientific interests: Didactics of higher education, methodology of high-tech ESP teaching, b-learning, constant professional development,  Moodle and other LMS for distant education. Nadiya Holiver is the author of more than 120 scientific works. She has taken part in the British Council in Ukraine project "English for Universities" and number of other international projects.Nadia Holiver has been awarded with several honorary distinctions.
