Bio Meshko Oleksandr Ivanovych – Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology, Volodymyr Hnatyuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University, Ternopil, Ukraine. He continued his education at the pedagogical faculty of the Kyiv State Pedagogical Institute. After graduating with honors from the M. Gorky Pedagogical Institute, he worked at the secondary school as a practical psychologist in Ternopil, and since 1990 he has been working as a lecturer at Volodymyr Hnatyuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University. In 1995 he received the degree of Candidate of Psychological Sciences, and in 1999 he was awarded the academic title of associate professor. In 2005, according to the results of the competition, he was appointed the head of the Department of Psychology of the same university. During 2008-2011 he studied for a doctorate at the M.R.Dragomanov National Pedagogical University. He currently works as an associate professor of psychology at Volodymyr Hnatyuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University. Research interests include the psychology of personal and professional growth of the teacher, the formation of professional and pedagogical position of the individual and the development of professional subjectivity of the individual, psychological factors of personal and professional self-realization and self-development of a teacher at different stages of professionalization. The scientific output includes about 150 publications, including textbooks, curricula, monographs and scientific articles in foreign and domestic professional publications in psychology and pedagogy, etc. |
