Dr. Ljubov Barna, born in 1960, received the degree of Candidate of Pedagogics Sciences (Ph.D.) of Kyiv State University named after T. G. Shevchenko in 1994.

Since 1991, she has been working at the Department of General Biology and Natural Sciences Teaching Methods at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, Ukraine.

Along 1995-2003, Vice Dean for academic affairs for Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of Natural Sciences Teaching at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, Ukraine.

Her research interest includes a history of biology, reproductive and plant morphology, modern training technologies, IoT. She is the author of many scientific works, textbooks, and manuals.
