Woei-Luen Chen (S’02-M’05-SM’18) received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from National Taiwan University in 1997 and 2006, respectively. From 2006 to 2016, he was with Chang Gung University, Taiwan. Since 2016, he joined the Electrophysics Group of the Department of Applied Physics and Chemistry at University of Taipei, where he is currently a Professor. His present research interests include power electronic applications, reactive power compensation systems and renewable energy conversion systems.
