With a solid academic background, obtained atthe ESALQ / USP, POLI / USP, IPT and ITA institutions, Ihave dedicated myself for the last 30 years to the study andpractice of Risk Analysis and Management, bothoccupational and social arising from the impacts ofindustrial accidents and of complex sociotechnical systems.For that, I work in the quantitative areas, with modeling ofuncertainties of risk events, with traditional techniques ofprobability and statistics, as well as alternative techniquesfor the treatment of epistemic uncertainty. In the qualitativearea I have experience with structuring problems - PO-Soft,decision analysis. The integration of Human Factors andErgonomics (HF&E) in risk analysis is also a line of action.This experience accumulated over the years has enabledme to create Postgraduate courses in the area of ​​RiskAnalysis, Quantitative Methods applied to Technological Risks, and Human Factors Engineering for theTechnological Management Program - CTE-G of theAeronautics Institute of Technology in partnership with IEAv and IAE, Organizations of the Department ofAerospace Science and Technology - DCTA
