Dr. Tanapat Anusas-amornkul is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science within the Faculty of Applied Science at King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Kasetsart University (1995), a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado at Boulder (1998), and a Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh (2008), where his doctoral research investigated detection mechanisms for packet-dropping attacks in ad hoc networks. Dr. Anusas-amornkul’s primary research centers on cybersecurity, network protocols, and information security, with a specialized focus on behavioral biometric authentication, such as using machine learning and keystroke dynamics for secure identity verification. In addition, he serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Applied Science and Emerging Technology.
