Dr. Mohamed Mohsen is one of the first Ph.D. graduates at Qatar University. He is currently the General Manager of the AKC Qatar construction company. Dr. Mohamed has a large experience in both academic and industrial fields. His field of expertise in the field of nanotechnology in cementitious and concrete materials was excellent. He has investigated the effect of several types of CNTs on the ductility and strength of ordinary concrete in a funded postdoctoral award“PDRA3-0402-17003” and has previously participated in two of the most important National Priority Research Programs NPRP 4-1142-2-024 and NPRP 6-280-2-117 that incorporated CNTsand self-healing materials in cementitious composites. From these research studies, several publications were done illustrated the success of many proposed methodologies in enhancing the strength and durability of concrete elements. In the industrial field, Dr Mohamed has a large experience in all works related to reinforced concrete buildings. Along with his team, he has delivered a huge amount of projects such as the Commercial Bank buildings in Ruwais, Grand Hamad, Messila and Wakra areas, AL Raya newspaper building, Lagoona mall interior,and many other reinforced concrete structures.
