Dr. Bashir Saleh, Associate Professor at the Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies in Tripoli, Libya (Head of the Construction Division), holds a Ph.D. in 2013 from Warsaw University of Technology, “Modeling of girder-to-column joints in steel and concrete composite frames subject to standard and severe load combinations”, is the title of the thesis. In 2007, he obtained his master's degree in Structural Design of High-Tall Buildings and Skyscrapers using the Eurocode for Composite Materials for Steel and Concrete.

Prior to joining Higher Technical Education as a lecturer in 2014, he conducted postdoctoral fellowships for three years in South Africa, Poland, and Japan. He worked as a researcher in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Tripoli in Libya from April 2014 until April 2019. In 2013, one of his scientific works was selected as the best research study in the Scientific Journal of Architecture and Building (SJA).

 Dr. Bashir Salih's research interests include the selection of natural and biological materials and their applications in sustainable buildings and structures. Dr. Bashir Salih is an expert in using specialized programs in scientific study (modeling and simulation). Previously worked on Simulation Technologies and Serious Scientific Research (Abaqus, LsDyna, MS Patron). More than 50 international scientific publications and more than 20 national scientific articles have been written by him. He has already been a keynote speaker at several scientific conferences, including the Building Conference at the University of Tripoli and the Paris Conference in 2022 in France.
