Custom patient-specific implants and workflows allow for more flexibility in treating patients. However, can any clinical center currently make and place custom implants while there are strict guidelines for production and follow-up of standard prosthesis. How do we navigating European legislation in custom implants: design, production and use?
Learn hands-on case-based planning. Import custom designs from medCAD software like 3matic. Integrate this in Origin, the Brainlab planning platform. Perform multiple surgeries: spine, trauma, complex orthopedics and oncology on 3D printed cases. This workshop is come and go, join us for 1 case or multiple.
Learn hands-on how planning a complex orthopedic case works. Images are imported and segmented. A plan is formed. PSIs are made and allograft selected. Perform the resections as planned on printed specimens.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Open Integrated Digital OR of the Future
Armin Janß, Aachen, Germany
CAOS International is pioneering open networks in modular digital OR of the future as reference partner organization of the OR.NET initiative(www.ornet.org) for the application of the new international ISO IEEE11073 SDC in the field of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. The workshop will give insights and updates (incl. interactive demos) and will propose and discuss task forces for the elaboration of SOPs in CAOS.
If you are member of CAOS International and you are interested to participate in the focus group activities and related information please contact: sops-in-dors@caos-international.org
Session will begin at 14:45
Using real datasets, learn hands-on how complex neural networks work, how to train these networks, and what the strenghts and weaknesses are.
