Validation of the Analytical Method for the Quantification of Sodium and Potassium in a Parenteral Solution

EasyChair Preprint no. 4174

3 pagesDate: September 13, 2020

Abstract

Parenteral solutions are sterile substances that are administered intravenously as fluid replacement therapy or as a vehicle for drug administration, which is why the measurement of electrolyte content is a crucial component and, therefore, the validation of the analytical method. that is followed, since in this way reliable results can be ensured.

This project seeks to solve the problem that the method of quantification of sodium and potassium in the injection of dextrose at 5%, sodium chloride at 0.3% and potassium chloride at 0.149% is a long and impractical test for work online, so here another practical and reliable analysis method is proposed, not standardized, so it must be validated.
