ACM Celebration of Women in Computing: womENcourage 2019 brings together people in the computing profession and related technical fields to exchange knowledge and experience and provide special support for women who are pursuing their academic degrees and starting their careers in computing.
The 6th ACM Celebration of Women in Computing: womENcourage 2019 will be held in the beautiful city of Rome, Italy on September 16-18, 2019 The three-day event includes a Hackathon, Workshops, Posters, Technical Talks, Career Fair, Panel Discussions and two Interdisciplinary Research Tracks on fascinating topics such as Conscious Cities and Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. Attendees will be able to meet with their peers in order to build on their networks of expertise, be inspired by many scientifically renowned invited speakers, and consider new career opportunities during the career fair.
Poster Submission Guidelines
We welcome poster submissions that present original ideas and research in computing. Authors may submit their new work or versions of their previously published work. Poster submissions can have multiple authors (of any gender).
- One-page extended-abstract of the poster should follow ACM conference publication format and must be submitted as a PDF file.
- Submissions should emphasize the originality and importance of the contribution. More detailed guidelines can be found in the Poster Guidelines.
