Welcome to Tu+9 at Cornell! We are pleased to announce that the 9th iteration of the Workshop on Turkic and Languages in Contact with Turkic (Tu+) will be hosted by Cornell Linguistics. The workshop will be held at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY on 23rd - 24th March 2024. The workshop is planned to be held in-person.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

Abstracts should be submitted in PDF format through Tu+9 EasyChair page by Sunday, December 10th, 2023, 11:59pm EST. -
Extended Deadline: Abstracts should be submitted in PDF format through Tu+9 EasyChair page by Sunday, December 17th, 2023, 11:59pm EST.

Abstracts should contain original research that, at the time of submission, has neither been published nor accepted for publication.

Abstracts need not contain a fully worked-out analysis; they may describe either early-stage or in-progress research projects.

Submissions are limited to two abstracts per person: i) one individual abstract and one joint abstract, or ii) two joint works.

Abstracts, including data and references, should not exceed two pages (in letter or A4 format) and should have 1 inch (2.54cm) margins on all sides. The font should not be smaller than 11pt.

Abstracts should not reveal the identity of the author(s); therefore, abstracts should not contain excessive references to the publications of the author(s) or acknowledgments to granting agencies or academic bodies.
