Roundtable Discussion Proposals
The Society is exploring an alternative session this year, Roundtable Discussions. Round table discussions will be opportunity to synchronously discuss a broad range of topics of interest and importance to society members during the conference. These topics could be related to new areas of research that could be of interest to the community, methodological challenges that we now face (e.g., conducting discourse processing research using online platforms), professional development (e.g., navigating the job market), or larger issues that impact the society (e.g., pursuing social justice, effective communication with policy makers), or other meaningful topics.
