Submission Deadline: April 16th, 2019
Notification to Authors: May 16th, 2019
Today’s collaborative research projects act as a bridge between research (e.g., academia) and practitioners (e.g., industries). Within collaborative projects, the research community can ideas in a real industrial environment while, at the same time, can raise the need for new and different research inspired by the needs of industry.
The Research Project Showcase of STAF 2019 provides an opportunity for researchers involved in ongoing and/or recently completed research projects (national, European and international) related to the topics of the conference to present their projects and disseminate the objectives, deliverables, or outcome. During the event, researchers could also share ideas, research statements, and call for consortium for future projects needed in their current project context or propose research statements for future project. Hence, on one side, the Research Project Showcase will offer the possibility to project participants to share and disseminate their project results. On the other side, it will allow STAF participants to get a better insight in research projects currently ongoing on the field of Software Technologies, Applications and Foundation and in research statements future projects may have. The Research Project Showcase of STAF represents a consolidated forum where projects, researchers and industrial practitioners can share experience, ideas, and knowledge and build/strengthen the community for future projects.
