SMSTS'2023
SMSTS's meetings were conceived and adopted to meet up with the societal needs in drying sciences and technologies. They attract the industrialist’s interest in the local products development and valorization, promote cooperation between North African scientific teams in subjects related to drying technologies, and provide opportunities for young researchers to present their research. Since 2006, the date of their creation in Tozeur (Tunisia), the SMSTS were organized periodically and alternately in Algeria (2008), Morocco (2010), Tunisia (2013), Algeria (2015), Tunisia (2018), and Morocco (2019). The 8th edition of the SMSTS will be held in Sousse (Tunisia) on March 18th-20th 2023.The SMSTS aims to exchange the latest results on drying and to evaluate drying activities already carried out by the industrial and researchers concerned. This will allow the creation and the support of a North African consortium around drying processes. Also, it will facilitate the upgrading and to check the new technologies and methods used even in the laboratories or in industry, will contribute to the assess the recent development in the energy management in the drying processes, and trigger reflections for the eventual federal research programs in the future.

Paper Submission
The texts to be submitted should not exceed 6 pages (the template can be downloaded from the seminar website www.smsts-tam.com). The official languages of SMSTS 2023 are French and English. Each paper will be evaluated at least by two reviewers and accepted papers will be published in the proceedings and made available to participants in electronic format.A brief one-page abstract highlighting the relevance of the topic, the used method and the obtained results should be submitted separately from the full article. The hard copy of the abstracts will be given to the participants before the start of the seminar.The papers selected by the Scientific Committee will be submitted for publication in international indexed Journals.
