Research Scholars' Day (RSD) is an annual festival of research scholars of IIT Patna to showcase their research work through posters and presentations to academicians and industry persons for their feedback and collaborations. This event provides an excellent platform for student-faculty interaction and at the same time promotes research awareness among the students. Enthusiastic participation from all our scholars is needed so that we can make this event memorable.
Submission Guidelines
The following paper categories are welcome:
- Posters describing the work precisely in the provided format.
- My Research in 3-minute Presentations describing the research area in limited words through the slides.
Paper Format
- The submitted paper must be formatted according to the guidelines available on the IIT Patna RSD 2021 website. The Poster Template, My Research in 3-Minutes, Abstract Template can also be accessed here (by clicking the given links).
Abstract Length

The submitted abstract must be no longer than 150 words.
Paper/Poster Submission

Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically using the online conference management system in the doc/ppt format before the deadline (see Important Dates).

All abstracts should be in word documents (.doc) format. The Posters and My Research in 3-Minutes presentations should be in PowerPoint (.ppt) or in PDF format.

The submission processes will be managed by easychair.org. If you have used this system before, you can use the same username and password. If this is your first time using EasyChair, you will need to register for an account by clicking the "I have no EasyChair account" button. Upon completion of registration, you will get a notification email from the system and you are ready for submitting your paper. You can upload and re-upload the paper to the system by the submission due date.

The abstracts/papers should be free from grammatical errors (you may use Grammarly extension or any other software for that).
