Introduction
While moral psychologists and neuroscientists are discovering the processes underlying human moral judgment and decision making, some artificial intelligence researchers are contemplating how to develop machines that can reason about morality and make moral decisions. The 1st RLDM Workshop on Moral Decision Making (MoDeM) will bring together researchers from across the diverse RLDM community to discuss recent advancements in these fields and find opportunities for cross-talk and collaboration on this sometimes-contentious topic. Activities planned include invited and contributed talks, a debate, and a small-group discussion session.
