The Special Session on Multi-Goal Decision Making Techniques and its Applications (MGDMTA 2021)
In conjunction with
The 6th IEEE/ACIS International Conference on Big Data, Cloud Computing, and Data Science Engineering
(BCD 2021)
June 7-9, 2021, Macao
Scope
In practical applications in nature and society, semi-structured and unstructured decision-making issues involve multiple criteria (or goals) that may conflict with each other. The success of decision-making lies in whether mangers, administrators, supervisors, and other decision makers can comprehensively consider and understand the insight of future for making the best decision-making planning and choice. Multiple-criteria decision making (MCDM), multiple-objective decision making (MODM), multiple-attribute decision making (MADM) are used to lead decision makers to analyze multiple-goal optimization issues from various perspectives.
The evaluation and selection methods (e.g. analytical hierarchy process (AHP), fuzzy AHP, analytical network process (ANP), fuzzy ANP, decision making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL), fuzzy DEMATEL, Choquet integral, etc.) are important tools for MCDM, MODM, and MADM. Furthermore, these methods can be employed to explore the relationship structure among criteria for a variety of related issues arising from the nature and society fields. For instance, MCDM, MODM, and MADM methods can be applied to the evaluation of new technologies adoption based on limited resources, the evaluation of new development investments, the priority of resource allocation, etc.
This special session named "Multi-Goal Decision Making for Applications" in BCD2021 will solicit papers on various disciplines of multi-goal decision making applications, including but not limited to:

Proceedings
The conference proceedings will be published by IEEE Conference Publication Services (CPS) and will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and EI Compendex.
Submission and Publication Information
All papers need to be submitted electronically through the conference website (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mgdmta2021) with PDF format. Submitted papers must not substantially overlap with papers that have been published or that are simultaneously submitted to a journal or a conference with proceedings. The format of the final manuscript should be in a two-column format and 6 pages in length. Up to an extra 2 pages (total of 8) can be purchased at registration time (see the registration form for pricing). Papers must be clearly presented in English, including tables, figures, references and appendices. Papers will be selected based on their originality, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation assessed by at least three reviewers. Submission of a paper should be regarded as a commitment that, should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register and attend the conference to present the work. BCD 2020 reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from the digital library and indexing services), if the paper is not presented at the conference. Accepted and presented papers will be included in the IEEE CPS Proceedings. Distinguished papers presented at the conference, after further revision, will be published in special issues of high-quality international journals.
