META—XENAKIS: a Global Marathon Symposium: September 30, October 1, 2022
Musicians, experts, scholars, artists, architects, mathematicians, philosophers from all over the world are invited to participate in this international, up-to-date, transdisciplinary discussion about the ever-contemporary “Xenakis Universalis.”
This is an open call and submissions will be anonymously double peer-reviewed by a distinguished international Scientific and Artistic Committee (see below).
Submission Guidelines
All presentations must be original, in English, and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. General format is 20-minutes per presentation, with 5 to 10 minutes of Q & A.
All proposals must be accompanied by a Biography of the main presenter (250 words max).
Please add any Technical Requirements (Please also note we might provide alternative solutions to maximize the inclusion of your submission due to possible limitations of the hosts’ technology).
The following categories are welcome:
- Full papers: 250-word abstract
- Workshops: 250-word abstract + stage requirements
- Round-tables: 250-word abstract
- Lecture/recitals (may be organized/recorded locally and broadcast globally, depending on sanitary restrictions at the time): 250-word abstract + stage set-up/instrument requirements
Deadline for submissions: May 2, 2022
Results announced: June 6, 2022

Proceedings from the Meta—Xenakis Symposium will be published after the conference, thereby including relevant Q & A and Round-table transcriptions.
Venue
The Transcontinental Marathon Symposium will be hybrid, assuming sanitary measures will allow for some in-person presence, and will be live-streamed and recorded and archived for future consultation (details will be made available on a timely basis). The provisional schedule is as follows:
