About the Workshop
JUSWIS is an annual summer workshop initiated by the Management Information Systems (MIS) group in the Department of Management & Marketing at Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) Business School. The IS groups in both the Hong Kong University (HKU) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) have decided to join this workshop as participating universities. All participating universities will take turns hosting the event on an annual basis from this year forward.
All guests invited to participate in the workshop are either current Editor-in-Chief or Senior Editors of the top two journals in the IS discipline. The workshop serves as a platform for authors in PolyU Business School and other participating universities who aspired to submit their scholarly work to premium journals in the IS discipline to solicit constructive feedback directly from the editors.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. All papers should be formatted based on the following guidelines
Text
All text in manuscripts must be in 12-point Times New Roman font. Papers must be DOUBLE SPACED, left-justified only — the entire article, including the abstract and the appendices. See below for text guidelines on references, figures and tables.
Tables & Figures
Figures, tables, and exhibits can be in font sizes smaller than 12-point Times New Roman (e.g., 10-point Arial or Calibri). Text in figures, tables, and exhibits may be single-spaced.
Figures, tables, and exhibits should be embedded in the body of the paper, either immediately after the reference in the text or as soon as possible thereafter.
References & Footnotes
References must be in 12-point Times New Roman font and SINGLE SPACED, with a hanging indent.
References should be listed alphabetically by author name at the end of the paper in conformance with APA 7th edition. In-text citations should be indicated by the author’s last name and year of publication, e.g., (DeGross, 1977) or DeGross (1977).
