About INCAM 2019
NCAM 2019 is the fourth in the series of INCAM conferences, continuing from previous successful editions INCAM 2013, INCAM 2015 and INCAM 2017 held at IIT Madras, IIT Delhi and MNNIT Allahabad, respectively. INCAM 2019 is organized by the departments of Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore and will be held at the J.N.Tata Auditorium located in the IISc campus.
INCAM 2019 will provide a technical platform for discussion among researchers in the broad area of Applied Mechanics. The conference will feature plenary and invited lectures from experts, oral presentations, poster sessions, video contests and a novel "My PhD in 3 minutes" session.
We expect enthusiastic participation from students and young researchers, from faculty at various universities across the country, from colleagues in research labs and in industry. Sponsors and exhibitors will showcase technological advances of interest to the applied mechanics community. We are expecting a wonderful conference and hope that you will join us.
Guidelines for Abstract Submission
- Abstract template: The template for abstracts is here. All submissions are required to follow the template.
- Submitting an abstract: A pdf version of your abstract should be uploaded at the link provided, which is hosted using EasyChair under the conference title INCAM 2019. Please create a free user ID with EasyChair if you don't already have one. Only the uploaded file will be peer reviewed. You may ignore the text fields provided on the submission page.
- Page Limits: Extended abstracts for oral presentations are required to be 2-4 pages long. Abstracts for poster presentations, MP3 and the video contest are required to be 1-2 pages.
- Presenting Authors: Clearly indicate the presenting author and his/her email address at the provided location in the template file. The presenting author will also be the author for future correspondence.
- Program: Clearly indicate the program for which the abstract is submitted where mentioned in the template file. You may select multiple programs. For instance, your abstract can be considered for both the MP3 and poster sessions.
- Participating in multiple programs:
- Each registrant can submit only one abstract per conference program. For instance, a participant cannot submit two abstracts for oral presentations or two abstracts for poster presentations.
- To participate in multiple programs- for instance, in an oral presentation as well as in the poster session- collate your abstracts into a single file during submission.
- Participants in the MP3 and Video Contests are strongly encouraged to present a poster as well, which will facilitate discussion of their work.
- We request that participants be presenting author in only one oral presentation, although they may be co-authors in multiple abstracts.
- Decision: All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed and a decision will be conveyed to the authors on the conference registration page.
