International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE 2022) is the flagship conference of the Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education. ICCE 2022 is a multi-track conference. There are seven sub-conferences as mentioned in the list of tracks below. Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. In each sub-conference, the following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers (8-10 pages)
- Short papers (5-6 pages)
- Poster papers (2-3 pages)
List of Tracks (sub-conferences)
- C1 (AIED/ITS) sub-conference on AIED/ITS & Adaptive Learning focuses on research and development of interactive and adaptive learning environments for learners of all ages, across all domains. It is interdisciplinary, including artificial intelligence, computer science, cognitive science, education, learning sciences, educational technology, psychology, philosophy, sociology, anthropology and linguistics. It also includes many domain-specific areas for which AIED/ITS systems have been designed and built, including ITS for ill-defined domains.
- C2 (CSCL/LS) sub-conference on Computer Supported Collaborative Learning and Learning Sciences aims to promote pancontinental discussion about learning designs that bring together perspectives from educational technology, information science, educational psychology, museum research, learning sciences, library science, instructional science, computer science, cognitive science, design research, human-computer interaction, and more.
- C3 (ALT/LA) sub-conference will focus on advances and emerging trends in digital infrastructure that support and facilitate learning. Examples include inventive uses of data as representations of teaching and learning activities which bring into scope learning analytics and its sub-processes of capturing, collecting, storing, analyzing, visualizing and using data to improve teaching & learning, as well as the processes that enable it, such as educational data mining, open educational resources, interoperability standards, and digital infrastructures.
- C4 (CUMTEL) sub-conference advocates educational research that highlights both pedagogical and technological innovations to enhance pedagogical practices in mobile, contextualized, and ubiquitous learning environments. This includes future challenges in terms of pedagogy and technologies, as well as socio-technological aspects such as accessibility, scalability, policies, privacy and security, and teachers’ professional development.
- C5 (EGG) sub-conference aims at providing researchers a platform to share and discuss innovative and advanced design, learning and assessment technologies utilizing toys, games, and gamification.
- C6 (TELL) sub-conference focuses on advances and emerging trends in Technology Enhanced Language Learning. It invites submissions on the rationale, theories, pedagogies, and best practices for the use of digital technologies to enhance first/second/foreign/additional language teaching and learning.
- C7 (PTP) sub-conference on Practice‐driven Research, Teacher Professional Development and Policy of ICT in Education welcomes contributions that concern research, diffusion and effective practices of ICT innovation in education, focusing on issues regarding technological innovation, and related emerging pedagogical and methodological concerns.
