ICBB 2022: International Conference on Biomass and Bioenergy 2022 IPB International Convention Center Bogor, Indonesia, August 1-2, 2022

     International Conference on Biomass and Bioenergy (ICBB) 2022 is a continuation of the previous conferences, ICBs in 2016-2018 and ICBBs in 2019-2021, organized by the Surfactant and Bioenergy Research Center (SBRC)-IPB University and the International Society of Biomass and Bioenergy (ISBB). Besides our previous focuses on Biomass and Bioenergy, the conference invites more papers from the fields of biomaterials, bioprocess, nanotechnology and IT/AI in Agriculture.

      The ICBB 2022 will be held on August 1-2, 2022 with the theme "Journey of Biomass and Bioenergy Research and Development to Achieve Net Zero Emissions".

Please note that due to the COVID-19, ICBB 2022 will be held as an online conference. Detailed information regarding the final conference implementation will be informed further.

      Papers will be published in IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES) indexed by SCOPUS after passing the peer reviewing system.

Submission Guidelines

       Paper required: a paper with strong focus and contents on Biomass/Bioenergy/Biomaterials or innovation, advanced technology (bioprocess, nanotechnology, etc.) or digital technology (IT, IoT, AI, etc.) in Agriculture. Typical papers not accepted in the past years: Common agronomy, Financial modeling, Mechanical engineering, Semiconductors and Crop pathology (without any relation to biomass and bioenergy).

      All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Use above Submission link to submit English abstracts and wait our acceptance notice for full paper submission. Abstracts should be more than 150 words and less than 250 words excluding spaces.

      Full papers must be in English and should be less than 12 pages in length. Full papers must use the template for paper submission. Papers may not be submitted to other conferences or journals during the ICBB 2022 review period nor may they be already under review or published in other conferences or journals. Overlength papers will be rejected without review.

      Papers must be submitted by pdf electronically via the EasyChair conference System. Prior to submitting an abstract, authors must have an EasyChair account and log into the system for typing abstracts. We highly recommend you to use a PC, not a smartphone for typing abstract and others. Submitted PDF papers will be anonymous for reviewing.

Free participations: all co-authors (non-oral presenter only) and non-author participants.

Additional e-certificates for co-authors and non-author participants, are available for IDR 200,000 or JPY 1,540 or USD 14 per certificate.

The certificate of abstract and invoice with details on payment instructions will be emailed to corresponding authors of accepted abstracts.

Review and Publication Fee for IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES) ICBB 2022

• Non refundable, but IOP publication cost be refunded to those who are rejected by ICBB Paper Committee during its reviewing.
• Non refundable, to those who are not rejected by ICBB Paper Committee's reviewing, but rejected by IOP's reviewing.
