The International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) invite you to the Joint 3rd IAA Latin American Symposium on Small Satellites and 5th IAA Latin American CubeSat Workshop, hosted by Sideralis Foundation
Space Technology, Culture, and Society
Space technology is an important part of the sustained development strategy for the nations. It has an undeniable impact on our societies and helps improve the quality of life of the people around the world thanks to it enabling telecommunications, improving the planning and public services provision, providing enhanced emergencies management, and allowing environmental protection, among many others.
The IAA Latin American CubeSat Workshop and the IAA Latin American Symposium on Small Satellites bring a unique opportunity to discuss and talk about CubeSats and SmallSats technologies, which have a remarkable momentum in the space industry worldwide. Let's share experiences and knowledge on space matters among professionals, researchers, students, and companies from the Region and around the world!
Call for Papers
All abstracts related to space matters are welcome to participate.
The CubeSats and SmallSats technologies have an impressive momentum in the last years, they became more accessible and capable, offering a broad spectrum of traditional and innovative uses in the space industry with uncountable benefits and influence in our society. With this in mind, we encourage students, teachers, and researchers from Latin-American and around the world to participate in the Joint 3rd IAA Latin American Symposium on Small Satellites and 5th IAA Latin American CubeSat Workshop sharing their knowledge, ideas, and experiences. Send your abstracts to participate through papers, posters, or tutorials. The working language of the event is English, but in-Spanish presentations will be considered as an exception.
Note: The working language is English
The abstract should have not less than 300 and not more than 500 words (excluding title and author’s information). It must be a summary (not an introduction) of the work presented in the paper, and complete in itself.
Indicate the main topic addressed (e.g. SmallSats experiences, CubeSats missions, etc.), and if it is intended for the symposium or the workshop
Note: The presenting author has to register for the event.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original. The abstract and full paper templates are available on the workshop website: https://www.sideralisfoundation.org/iaa2022la
Submit your paper (PDF) using the EasyChair System.
Email submissions will not be accepted.
