Welcome to iFUZZY2018

On behalf of the organizing committee of 2018 International Conference on Fuzzy Theory and Its Applications (iFUZZY2017), I would like to cordially invite you to participate in iFUZZY2018, which will be held at EXCO in Daegu, South Korea on November 14 to 17, 2018.

On the purpose of promoting a cooperative research and development relationships among experts in the word wide, the conference has been held in Taiwan every year. Although the conference has been held in Asia, several hundreds of participants has visited the conference from all over the world.

This year, iFUZZY2018 will be held in South Korea. This will be a great opportunity to strengthen the relationship and friendship between Korean Institute of Intelligent Systems (KIIS) and the Taiwan Fuzzy Systems Association (TFSA). In the near future iFUZZY2018 will be one of the most leading and prestigious conferences contributing to the advancement in intelligent systems based on the fuzzy theory.

The purpose of this symposium is to share ideas, provide information, and enlarge human networks. It will open a lively scientific forum by bringing researchers, engineers, and practitioners from diverse backgrounds all together to discuss and disseminate the latest state-of-the-art achievements, challenges, and future directions.

Daegu is one of the largest cities in Korea with over 2.5 million residents, which is located in the south-eastern area of Korea. Please join the symposium and enjoy the colorful city of Daegu!

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

• A. Paper for IEEE Xplore Digital Library
  Full paper no less than 4 pages of conference format must be submitted for review. Accepted papers of this type will be included the conference proceedings and will be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

• B. Conference Proceedings-only Paper
  Full paper no less than 2 pages of conference format must be submitted for review. Accepted papers of this type will be included ONLY in the conference proceedings

Venue

The conference will be held at EXCO in Daegu South Korea. EXCO, launched as the first regional exhibition and convention center in April, 2001, has hosted various exhibitions and convention events such as 2003 Summer Universiade, 2004 International Solar Cities Initiative, UCLG ASPAC, 2005 APEC Business Forum, 2010 World Firefighters Games, IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011 Congress, 2012 International Congress of Entomology, 2013 World Energy Congress, and 2015 World Water Forum.
