The European Consortium of Sociological Research (ECSR) will hold its annual conference in 2020 between the 1st and 3rd of July, at University of Amsterdam. All scholars doing theory-driven empirical sociological research are invited to contribute to the conference. The theme of the conference is "Social inequalities and cohesion". The conference has a similar setup to earlier ECSR conferences with, amongst others, sessions on education, family, labor market, health, and social cohesion. Any contribution along these lines is welcome.
Submission Guidelines
Important: Authors are asked to submit both a short abstract (150 words) and an extended abstract (2-3 pages, double spaced, excluding references, no author-identifying information). We do not have the capacity to review lengthy submissions.
Extended abstracts must be sufficiently detailed to allow the scientific committee to judge the merits of the paper. Typically, extended abstracts consist of a statement of the research question (and the underlying theory, if appropriate), description of the data and research methods, and some (preliminary) findings.
At the time of submission, if there are multiple coauthors, one must be identified as the author who will present the paper (the presenting author). It is possible to submit multiple papers as "presenting author" but only one of these will potentially be accepted.
Submissions can be made via the provided EasyChair link (you will have to make a free EasyChair account if you do not have one already).
