The EBELA(Evidence-Based Education and Learning Analytics)-Asia-2019 is a workshop aims at fostering research in Asia region in the domains of evidence-based education and learning analytics. The two-folded objective of this workshop is, first, to explore the frontiers of how technology can help to automatically extract evidence of effective teaching-learning practices by applying the knowledge base of LA and developing novel techniques; and second, to foster research into the analysis of students’ interaction with digital textbooks, and find new ways in which it can be used to inform and provide meaningful feedback to stakeholders such as teachers, students, and researchers.
Participants are encouraged to submit their research (either complete or work-in-progress) that cover technical, theoretical, pedagogical, as well as organizational issues in learning analytics.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Abstract(up to 250 words) can be a short summary of a work-in-progress and/or a proposal that an author wishes to receive feedback to improve.
Authors are advised to submit their manuscripts using IEEE(double-column) Conference Proceedings template either in Microsoft Word or LaTex format.
