This annual special event is taking place as part of EVA London 2018 Conference in a show and tell format including talks, demos and/or participatory work.
Proposals
Proposing for V&A Digital Futures at EVA London 2018
Proposals may be for an exhibit or demonstration.
Your proposal should relate to digital technology and the arts in the broadest sense.
Summary proposals only, please! Please submit only a summary proposal, up to one page (400 words) for selection. Your proposal must be submitted via the EasyChair website.
The deadline for proposals is Friday 16th March 2018.
Submission Guidelines
All submissions must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference, although proposals related to submissions to the associated EVA London 2018 Conference at the same venue (10-12 July 2018) are allowed, but please make a note of this in your proposal.
Proposals for presenting small-scale work (including research projects and work in progress) in a show-and-tell format are welcome. Please include dimensions, set up information and requests for equipment.
Please note work needs to be set up within a few hours, ideally freestanding. Proposed work can be in any medium, but not bigger than 2m2 and ideally freestanding.
Digital Futures is a regular event and open platform organized by V&A Digital Programmes for displaying and discussing work by researchers, academics, the industry and practitioners working with art, technology, design, science and beyond. It is also a networking event, bringing together people from different backgrounds and disciplines with a view to generating future collaborations. This annual special event in partnership with EVA takes place before the Conference and is free to attend.

Publication
The EVA London 2018 Conference proceedings will be published in the BCS eWiC (Electronic Workshops in Computing) series. It is planned to include a paper on Digital Futures in the proceedings.

The conference will be held at the BCS London Office, 5 Southampton Street, Covent Garden, central London, England.
