The discussions in the conference would focus on the contemporary issues to enable academia/industry/Tourism/Marketing/HR students/research scholars and other professionals to understand and appreciate the intrinsic nuances about Destination Management through 3Ds viz. Dialogue, Discussion and Discourse. It should therefore be possible to develop a better understanding about destination branding process. The thematic issues reflects the proposed discourse on building the destination brand thereby help in understanding and highlighting the market perceptions, capturing the unique essence of a destination and its special attributes. The present conference would address various issues related to Destination Branding and Competitive Positioning not only in local context but also in national context. This three day conference is expected to be a prime gathering of tourism professionals, academicians, trade professionals, researchers, decision makers, consultants, travel writers, research scholars, entrepreneurs and policy makers where they would share their perspectives and would provide insights on critical issues of destination branding and positioning/re-positioning strategies. The outcome of the conference would lay the road-map for formulating destination branding and management strategies and would address the overarching principles of sustainable growth, community development, heritage management and conservation.
Submission Guidelines
The papers shall adhere to the following:
- Length: Maximum 50006000 words excluding cover page
- Margins: 2.5 cm. or 1 inch
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 point
- Spacing: 1.5
- Cover page: Title, author(s), affiliation(s), contact details
- Key words: Maximum Four
- Only original, unpublished work is sought. Any proposal submitted to present identical or substantially similar work already published, under review for another Conference, or publication will not be considered.
- In the copy right form accompanying the paper/abstract, the contributors should certify that the manuscript has neither been published anywhere nor is it at present being considered anywhere for publication. The copy right and registration form is available at the conference link.
- Unless expressly indicated otherwise, all correspondence will be with the first named contributor. Receipt of all manuscripts will be acknowledged.
- Each submission will be blind reviewed for technical merit and content.
- The first page of the manuscript should be the title page. It should contain the title of the manuscript and the name, designation, address, phone number and email address of each contributor.
- It is the responsibility of the contributors to guard against possible copyright infringement by them, with respect to the matter taken from other sources and used by them in their writing.
- The full papers must be submitted with Abstract. All the figures and tables should appear at the end of the manuscript. They should be properly numbered in Arabic notation and bear appropriate title and labels.
- The manuscript should not contain footnotes. References should be placed at the end of the manuscript in APA format before the figures and tables. The list should mention only those sources cited in the text of the manuscript.
- A soft copy of the full paper in Microsoft Word should be emailed to sbsconferencecuj2017@gmail.com and reach the conference coordination committee as per the schedule.
