CPFTMC - 2019 aims to bring together academicians, researchers, scholars, practitioners, social scientists and data-engineers to exchange and share their experiences, ideas and research results.
Current Practices & Future Trends in Media Communication: In the technology-centric and innovation-led contemporary media-landscape, exciting changes are taking place in the way the content is created, packaged, distributed and consumed. These changes offer immense possibilities but also pose huge challenges, not just for the media industry but to the institutions that govern us and the society we live in. Adopting a multi-perspective and multi-disciplinary approach to engage Liberal Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Business Studies & Economics, Technology and Data Sciences with the current practices and future trends in communication, this conference aims at providing a dynamic platform for a holistic understanding of the media discourse that is shaping up at the dawn of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers can be submitted in any of the identified themes. Please strictly follow APA format for writing and submitting full paper for this conference. Deadine to submit full paper through easy chair is 1st May, 2019. Full papers should include all major headings, including study objectives and detailed discussions, using authentic secondary sources or primary data to support. APA citation standard should be adhered. Detailed illustrations and conclusions should be written with clarity and study objectives in perspective.
- Posters can be submitted in any of the identified themes. It can include major problem that poster addresses and broad solutions in general or specifc to the problem. Poster competition is to encourage students/research fellows to participate in the conference. Formar for writing poster paper also should follow APA format. Deadline to submit through easy chair is 1st May, 2019.
All submitted papers will be checked for the plagiarism through Turnitin. If the score is more than 15%, papers will be returned to authors to make necessary changes and submit "new file". Once that is ascertain, papers will be assigned to the reviewers. Interested authors are requested to maintain similarity score less than 15%.
The technical review committee will review the abstracts and reserves the right to reject any submitted abstract. Notification of acceptance or rejection of the abstract will be sent to all authors. Please check that your email address (submitter and presenting author) is correct as it will be used for contacting you after the review process. Publication
CPFTMC-2019 proceedings will be published in an e-database. While, selected papers will be published in the special edition of the Scopus and ICI indexed Journal of Content, Community and Communication, published by Amity School of Communication, Gwalior (M.P) in association with the School of Humanities and Social Sciences IIT Indore and Ubiquity Press, UK.
A book with ISBN under the title of "Current Practices and Future Trends in Media Communication", comprising of chapters from the extended papers submitted at the conference, will be published as well.
Venue
The conference will be held in Amity University Dubai (UAE) located in Dubai International Academic City.
