CLAIB is a triennial event of the Regional Council of Biomedical Engineering for Latin America (CORAL), and the CBEB is a biannual event sponsored by the Brazilian Society of Biomedical Engineering (SBEB). Together, these two events create an opportunity for students, researchers, professionals, and other Biomedical Engineering scenarios to exchange knowledge and experiences in technological solutions for Health in Latin America and beyond. In the 2022 edition, CLAIB&CBEB 2022 is organized by a team of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IEB-UFSC) of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis-Brazil, with the collaboration of the entire Biomedical Engineering community in Latin America.

Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Regular papers are presented either as oral or poster presentations and must be 4 to 6 pages long. REGULAR PAPER TEMPLATE. Template MS Word: Link; Template LaTex: Link
- Short Communications up to 2-pages are presented either as oral or poster presentations. All paper content (i.e., text, figures, tables and references) must fit into two pages. SHORT COMMUNICATION TEMPLATE.-Template MS Word: Link; Template LaTex: Link

Publication
Regular papers (4-6 pages) will be published online on the website of the Regional Council of Biomedical Engineering for Latin America (CORAL – http://coralbiomedica.org/), and of the Brazilian Society of Biomedical Engineering (SBEB - http://sbeb.org.br/). However, only articles in English will be published in Springer's IFMBE (International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering) Proceedings, which will be available online at: https://ifmbe.org/ifmbe-proceedings-series/.
